Security & privacy

Your work deserves careful protection.

Your presentations and company knowledge are sensitive. Encryption and access controls work together to protect them from unauthorized access. We don’t sell your content or use it for advertising.

  • Encrypted in transit

    HTTPS with TLS encrypts information as it travels between your browser and Slyde. This helps prevent someone on the network from intercepting or reading your presentations and uploads.

  • Encrypted at rest

    Our database and file-storage provider, Supabase, encrypts stored customer data with AES-256. This protects the underlying storage; access controls separately govern who can read the content.

  • Protected workspace knowledge

    Database access rules check workspace membership before returning presentations or Brain content—including document text saved to your Brain. Another workspace’s account does not grant access to yours.

  • Permission checks, not just passwords

    Restrict sensitive presentations to named people with view or edit access. The database enforces those permissions, so knowing a presentation’s address is not enough to open a restricted presentation. Published sharing links have their own access settings.
