Terms of Service

Slyde (at myslyde.com) is a collaborative slide-deck builder with AI-assisted generation, operated by an individual developer rather than a company. These terms cover your use of the app — creating, editing, and sharing decks; inviting collaborators into a workspace; and using the AI tools that help draft and design slides.

You need an account to use Slyde. You’re responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what happens under your account. Personal workspaces are created automatically when you sign up; you can also create or join organization workspaces to collaborate with others.

New accounts start with a 14-day trial of Slyde Pro. The trial needs no payment details, and it doesn’t turn into a charge — when it ends, your account simply moves to the free plan.

• Free — unlimited decks, unlimited editing, themes, sharing, presenting, and exports. Free accounts keep everything they’ve made and can keep working indefinitely. The AI features are switched off.
• Pro, $15 per month — everything in Free, plus the AI features: deck generation from your company Brain, AI drafting and revision, AI themes, and AI image generation.

Pro is billed per person, not per workspace: one subscription covers you everywhere you work, including every organization workspace you belong to. Each person who wants AI needs their own subscription.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number — see the Privacy Policy for what we do keep.

A Pro subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel, charged to your payment method on the same day of each billing cycle. You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing, which opens Stripe’s billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your Pro access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, after which the account moves to the free plan. We don’t refund partial months, except where the law requires it.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a few days and Pro access continues during that window. If it ultimately doesn’t go through, the account moves to the free plan — your decks and content stay untouched either way. We may change the price with at least 30 days’ notice before it applies to your next renewal.

You own the decks, designs, images, and other content you create in Slyde. We don’t claim ownership over it, and we don’t use it to train AI models. You’re responsible for having the rights to anything you upload or generate, and for what you do with the output.

Your content isn’t held hostage by your plan. Downgrading to Free, cancelling, or letting a trial lapse never deletes a deck — you keep full access to open, edit, present, share, and export everything you’ve made.

You agree not to use Slyde to:

• Create, upload, or share illegal content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Abuse the AI generation features — for example, prompting them to produce illegal, abusive, or deliberately harmful content, or attempting to extract, jailbreak, or overload the underlying model.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ workspaces.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this, with or without notice, depending on severity.

Slyde’s generation features send your prompts and relevant deck content to a third-party AI model provider to produce slides, text, and design suggestions. AI output can be wrong, generic, or off-brand — review it before you rely on it or share it externally. Slyde isn’t responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content.

Pro includes generous AI use for normal work, not unlimited automated use. To keep the service fast and affordable for everyone, AI requests carry per-minute and daily limits, and the most expensive features carry their own daily ceilings. A normal working day stays well inside them. If you hit a limit, the feature returns and the counter resets — we’ll tell you when. We may adjust these limits as costs and usage change.

Slyde is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. It’s an actively developed product built and maintained by one person — features, pricing, and availability may change, and the service may have downtime, bugs, or data loss. To the extent permitted by law, Slyde isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of it.

You can delete your account at any time from the account menu in the sidebar (“Delete account”). This permanently removes your personal workspace and the content it holds; see the Privacy Policy for exactly what’s deleted. If you have an active subscription, deleting your account cancels it first — you will not be charged again. We may also suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will update the “Last updated” date above; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
